Wayne, I can’t find the dog. 

Wayne:

What? What do you mean? 

L:

He’s not in the house. Wtf

 

I’m scared

W:

Just calm down. Have you checked all the rooms? 

L:

YES, he’s not here. Omg

 

W:

It’s going to be okay. Maybe go ask some of the neighbors

 

L:

I already tried that. They haven’t seen anyone come in or out

 

Do I call the cops? 

 

W:

No, not yet. You only left for a little while, right?

 

L:

Yeah, I went to get groceries and

shut all the doors like usua

I’m re ally freakin out

 

W:

It’s gonna be ok. Ill try to leave work early

 

L:

ok

I feel so stupid

 

If I hadnt left he would be here

 

W:

U sure you checked everywhere? 

Like opened every door? 

 

L:

I mean yeah

Our closet is too small for him

to hide in

 

What if he got out and

got hit by a car???

 

W:

Layla

He can’t open doors

He has to be there

Who else even has a key? 

 

L:

Your mom and my mom 

 

But I don’t think they stopped by.

 

Im try ing not to have a panic attack

I cant believe this is happening

 

We only had him a year, babe

supposed to take care of kids in

the future if we lost a dog in

our own damn house???????

 

W:

Try opening every door again and calling for him

L:

I FOUND HIM!!!!!!

OMG he was here the whole time

 

W:

L:

In the bathroom

 

The door, I left it opened

 

He pinned himself in there

 

He was scared and crying and I couldnt hear him

 

I usually close it when I leave

 

Hes NEVER done this before

The neighbors must think Im crazy lol

 

I cant believe I almost called the police

Glad he’s okay. Gping back to work now.
